Private Wealth Advisors
Julie Prince began her financial services career in commercial banking and, after five years, started her wealth management practice with Northwestern Mutual in 1989. She founded Prince Financial Services, specializing in developing and implementing financial plans and helping clients build, protect, and pass on their wealth. They work with executives, business owners, and families to create a legacy for future generations.
Julie is a highly sought-after expert in the financial services industry, speaking and educating her peers regionally and nationally at conferences and seminars. She is passionate about providing financial guidance to those experiencing life-changing events.
She is a Board member of the YMCA of Greater Seattle, serving since early 2021. She has also served on the Independent Colleges of Washington board from 2012 to 2019. Forbes recognized Julie as a Best-In-State Wealth Advisor and Top Woman Wealth Advisor in Washington State in 2022 and Best-In-State Top Financial Security Professional in 2023 . She has volunteered for several committees and positions inside Northwestern Mutual. She serves on a national board representing her peers and the Diversity and Inclusion Committee with her local Northwestern Mutual Puget Sound office.
Julie earned her Bachelor of Arts in Business from Gonzaga University in 1984. She earned her Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU®) professional certification from the American College in 1998.
She grew up in eastern Washington and lives in Seattle with her husband Kurt and daughter Delaney. Julie enjoys spending time with family and friends and loves travel, cooking, entertaining, and the outdoors.

David H. Burnett
Founder and Private Wealth Advisor
David started his career as a financial advisor in 2006 after graduating from Washington State University with a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration and Marketing. David is passionate about deeply understanding his client's financial goals and needs. He thrives on finding unique, creative solutions to accomplish those goals, always looking to increase leverage while effectively managing taxes.
In 2018, David merged his practice with Prince Financial Services, giving his clients access to added depth of planning services while focusing on providing the firm's clients with the highest level of service.
David holds his FINRA Series 6, 63, 65, and 7 licenses and his Life, Health, Disability, and Long-Term Care licenses.
Away from the office, David loves spending time with his wife, Caitlin, and their two children, Cameron, and Grady. As a family, they stay busy boating on Puget Sound, swimming, playing at the park, and spending quality time with family and friends. They enjoy traveling, especially escaping Seattle winters to visit family in their favorite destination, Maui! Dave also enjoys playing tennis, working out, and cheering on his alma mater, Washington State University – Go Cougs!
Cade Fredrick Mossman CFP®, CLTC®

Cade loves helping his clients implement a holistic approach to their financial plans, emphasizing tax-efficient strategies. It's important to him to listen carefully to his clients' needs and goals so he can help them prioritize their objectives. From there, he works to help them get from where they are to where they want to be with confidence. In 2021, Cade made the exciting decision to combine his practice with Prince Financial Services to offer his clients more robust service and a broader range of expertise.
Cade has earned the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional designation, a highly recognized financial service credential. He also holds the Certificate of Long-Term Care (CLTC®) accreditation. Cade began his career as a financial representative in 2010, just after graduating from the University of Washington Foster School of Business.
Outside the office, Cade is often found on the golf course, endlessly pursuing his goal of becoming a scratch golfer. When he's not on the course, he's usually out and about with his dog, Sailor, or enjoying the beautiful Pacific Northwest on the water.
Conner James Gehring CFP®, ChFC®, CLU®, CLTC®

Conner takes a holistic planning approach working with business owners, technology executives, and retirees, and his natural problem-solving ability aligns perfectly with his clients' needs. He appreciates that his client's goals are individually unique, so he takes time to listen, learn, and proactively plan to help remove any financial worry so his clients can focus on what they enjoy most.
Conner also believes you can accomplish more together. In 2021, he combined his practice with Prince Financial Services to expand the resources he offers clients while providing the highest level of service. Additionally, he and his team are part of the exclusive Private Client Group within Northwestern Mutual, giving him access to unique resources that only the top planning teams within Northwestern Mutual have.
Conner started his career as a financial representative in 2009 after graduating from the University of Puget Sound with a bachelor’s degree in economics and business Leadership. Conner holds his CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ (CFP®) professional designation, the most recognized credential in the financial planning industry. He also holds the Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU®) and Certificate of Long-Term Care (CLTC) designations. He actively seeks ongoing education to stay on top of the industry in estate, retirement distribution, and tax planning strategies.
When he's not working, Conner cherishes time with his wife, Natalie, and their two daughters, Georgia and Frances. He also enjoys traveling, golfing, reading, and tinkering around his house.
Private Wealth Planning Team
Laura joined Prince Financial Services in 2019 as the Operations Manager. Laura's main objective is to support an efficient team workflow to provide the best client experience.
Laura graduated from Clemson University with a Bachelor of Science in Graphic Communication and is a past Director of Network Office Supervision with Northwestern Mutual. She currently holds her Life and Disability Insurance licenses.
Laura resides in West Seattle with her husband, Tom, her two kids, and their many animals. In her free time, she loves to run with friends, read, and spend time with her family and friends, and is always cooking up her next big challenge and adventure.
Colin serves as an associate financial representative for Prince Financial Services. He believes that good financial planning is not just about investments or retirement but about looking at the bigger picture, considering all aspects of a client's life, and tailoring solutions unique to their needs.
Colin joined the firm in 2023 after graduating with a degree in Finance and a minor in Disability Studies from Northern Arizona University. He currently holds his Life & Health certification.
When Colin is not meeting with clients or facilitating financial plans, he can be found with his girlfriend, Faith, exploring the beautiful city of Seattle and greater Washington. He loves trying new restaurants, watching sports in various recreational leagues, and making people laugh.
Jacob serves as an Associate Financial Representative for Prince Financial Services. He has a passion for helping clients obtain their financial “peace of mind”, serving business owners and successful professionals on their legacy, business succession planning, and life protection needs. With a background in banking, Jacob sees the need for taking a tailored approach with every client.
Jacob is a former college athlete where he received a scholarship and opportunity to play basketball for Lewis-Clark State College, receiving his Bachelor of Science in Psychology and Business Administration. He currently holds his FINRA Series 6, 63 and SIE registrations, as well as his Life, Health Disability, and Long-Term Care insurance licenses.
Away from the office, Jacob can be found trying new adventures with his girlfriend Nino. He also loves coaching, playing basketball, golfing in the summer, and attending sporting events.
Joy studied communications at the University of Washington, where she obtained her bachelor’s degree. Joy brings over 18 years of assisting high-level executives and business owners, continuously striving to cultivate an exceptional client experience. She holds her Life and Disability Insurance license.
Joy is a Pacific Northwest native, having grown up in greater Seattle until she moved to Boise in the summer of 2019.
Joy enjoys a happy home and family life with her husband, Thayne. She also has a great passion for practicing yoga at home or at a destination retreat, meditating and pondering life's great joys.
Sarah joined Northwestern Mutual in 2018 and Prince Financial Services in 2021. She is an Associate Financial Representative licensed in Life and Disability insurance.
Sarah graduated from Spring Hill College with a Master's degree from Xavier University. She uses her excellent communication skills to assist our team in partnering with clients to support their loved ones and build their legacy.
Sarah enjoys hiking/walking, reading, yoga, and spending time with family and friends outside of work. She lives with her husband, Mike, and their three kids in Bellevue.
Lindsay joined Northwestern Mutual in 2013 and was previously the Montana network office's Director of Training and Development. In 2021, Lindsay joined the Prince Financial Services team, and she now works remotely out of Bozeman, Montana. She holds her Life, Disability, Annuity, and Long-Term Care licenses.
Lindsay graduated from Montana State University with her bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education, and she is a proud supporter of the Montana State Bobcats.
When Lindsay is not working, you can find her spending time with her husband and four-year-old daughter, embracing the beauty Montana has to offer.
Kate has been with Northwestern Mutual since 2018 and joined Prince Financial Services in 2022. She aims to help clients better understand their financial health and literacy. By using her M.S. in Education from Simmons University and B.S. in Education from Wheelock College, Kate takes pride in educating clients about all aspects of the financial planning process.
Kate is continuing to build her skills and experience in the industry, currently holding her Life, Accident, and Health Insurance licenses along with her FINRA Series 6 and 63 registrations.
Kate spends most of her time outside the office with her three amazing children. They like to travel, do lots of crafting, and work on the 1000 hours outside projects together.
Sabrina is a class of 2019 and 2020 graduate of the University of Notre Dame with undergraduate degrees in Political Science and German and a master's degree in business management. She began her career in Camas, WA, at an investment management firm where she became passionate about emphasizing "service" in the financial services industry. She joined Prince Financial Services in 2022 and is eager to learn more about the insurance industry and explore her new city.
Outside of work, Sabrina loves traveling, reading, watching football, and spending time in the rare Pacific Northwest sunshine.
